BIO Kirsten Jenkins
Kirsten Jenkins is the founder and president of Green Line Financial with offices in Bangor and Portland, ME. Her company focuses on helping retirees and pre-retirees make informed financial choices designed to protect and preserve their retirement savings.
In today’s current financial environment, taking steps to insure against the loss of your retirement principal is a fundamental goal. And the first step in making an appropriate plan is to recognize the risks that exist as a threat to your financial well-being during retirement. For many people, owning financial products that are directly invested in the stock market presents an opportunity for gains. But more importantly, they also represent a significant risk of loss due to sudden and unforeseen market declines.
Kirsten specializes in the sale of Fixed Index Annuities, an approach that allows her clients to earn money when the market advances . . . while eliminating the risk of loss in a market decline. Her approach is based on the following three principles.
1. Making your money safe.
2. Earning a reasonable rate of return.
3. Keeping it simple.
She was born and raised in Hampden, ME where she lives with her husband Larry. She has two sons and a daughter Hannah, who works alongside Kirsten as office manager and seminar coordinator. Kirsten is an adventurous traveler and enjoys exploring new places . . . and relaxing and spending time with her family at their camp on Green Lake.
